FIBER TO THE HOME UPDATE

Phase two of our fiber to the home project, which encompasses the Clemons/St. Anthony exchange, will begin on May 24.  You will start seeing Central Cable Contractor equipment in the area burying the mainline fiber.   A few weeks after construction begins the drop crews will begin to bury the fiber drops to the outside of your business or residence.  Early this fall the installation crew will begin coming into your residents and/or businesses to do the required wiring and equipment installation.  Minerva Valley will contact you to make an appointment and discuss what services you are interested in.  The fiber splicer determines who we will be contacting first and the order our customers will be installed.

The implementation of fiber allows us to offer faster and more consistant Internet service providing an experience to match your needs.   The new Internet experience packages will be:

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE – 15/15 mbps – $65.00/month.  This Experience package is a good fit for customers mostly using the Internet to browse, shop, be on social media, etc.  The Essential Experience will support browsing the Internet for up to 3 devices at one time and for streaming over-the-top video for 1 device.

EXTRA EXPERIENCE – 50/50 mbps – $75.00/month.  This Experience package is a better fit for households that want to do more video streaming along with Internet browsing.  The Extra Experience will support browsing the Internet for up to 6 devices at one time and for streaming over-the-top video to 3 devices simultaneously.

EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE – 100/100 mbps – $95.00/month.  This Experience package is a good solution for gamers, streamers, families with multiple people working at home or with students attending school on-line.  The Exceptional Experience will support browsing the Internet for up to 10 devices at one time and streaming over-the-top video to 6 devices simultaneously.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE – 200/200 mbps – $175.00/month.  This Experience package is for the serious gamer, streamer or those who need the bandwidth for their work-at-home or school-at-home needs.  The Excellent Experience will support browsing the Internet for up to 20 devices at one time and streaming over-the-top video to 10 devices simultaneously.

NEWSMAX TV NETWORK CHANNEL ADDED TO SKITTER TV

Beginning October 1, 2020, Skitter TV Prime and Total package subscribers can tune in to the Newsmax TV Network.  Newsmax TV is a cable news channel owned by Newsmax media.  The channel primarily broadcasts from Newsmax’s New York studio on Manhattan’s East Side, carrying a news/talk format throughout the day and night, with documentaries and films on the weekend.  Go to www.newsmaxtv.com for more programming information.  You can find Newsmax TV Network on HD channel 116.
